“Akhanda 2: Tandavam” trailer has just become a full-on fest for Balayya Babu fans – and you can tell those who were dying to see it are practically salivating as they wait for the film to drop on December 12, 2025. The second part got a major boost when it dropped under the direction of Boyapati Srinu and produced by 14 Reels Plus & this sequel has upped the devotional-action ante big time compared to the first part.

Right off the bat, we get a dynamite fight sequence with Balakrishna bursting onto the screen as Muralikrishna in his youthful avatar – and boy, those mass moments make the screen just about vibrate right out of your hands – and when you add in the chanting of “Om Namah Shivaya, Jai Hanuman” the whole theatre just turns into a temple for that one instant.

The plot preview gives you a quick run down of the first part and gets you kinda curious about what happened to Akhand and what he’s up to. This time – the stakes are super high International – they’re talking Chinese Army General conspiracy , biowarfare on the Mahakumbh Mela and protection of Sanatana Dharma all in one – it’s all shown off with some seriously eye-popping visuals from the likes of Samyukta, Harshali Malhotra, Kabir Duhan Singh, Saswata Chatterjee in supporting roles

The action sequences (especially that breakneck interval hit) create absolute edge of your seat suspense. And then you’ve got that one Rudra Tandavam title track from Thaman BCJ – which somehow gets into your head and seems to just stick there, echoing and echoing, kinda like it’s being played right in a temple somewhere… even though its a 3D film, the visuals look epic even when you’re watching it in 2D itself

Now there is a couple of minor downsides to it – some of the plot twists feel a bit predictable and there’s just not a huge emotional connection for me but its pretty clear its going to be a mass entertainer with its sights firmly set on fanboys. Imdb rating being 5.8/10 means the trailer is matching the hype rather than dampening it – its all main highlights from now onwards.

All in all the trailer for ‘Akhanda 2’ is a full-on super-exciter with Balayya’s rather inspiring domination, Boyapati’s mass magic & Thaman’s on point sound & – for fans, its temple vibes – for the general audience it’s just pure entertainment all the way from start to finish. So just a heads up – keep your expectations in check & watch – this trailer really has blockbuster written all over it. Rating : 4/5. Jai Balayya!
